Life Safety Sensor - Light Beam Type, Embedded Model SAS-7U

We adopted a light beam method that is not affected by temperature changes. It detects distances using a new method, capable of sensing heights above 60 cm from the floor.

■Overview ● Used in the Life Safety Notification System. ● Connects to life safety notification devices, and will notify if the sensor does not detect for a set period of time. ■Features ● Since it uses a light beam to measure distance, it does not react to temperature changes such as heating, cooling, sunlight, or drafts. ● If the area changes continuously for more than 30 minutes, such as when items are placed, it automatically adjusts the detection height independently for each beam. ● With a standard ceiling height of 2.5m, it detects up to a height of 1.9m, so it will not detect pets, small animals, or robotic vacuum cleaners. ■Main Specifications ● A total of 7 beams can be adjusted in three levels: 0°, 3°, and 6°. ● The areas at both ends can be set in three patterns: +0.2m/active/inactive. ● The green LED display can be set to either always off or off during detection. ■Installation ● Suitable for individual living spaces in senior housing. ● Available in two types: "exposed type" for easy installation and "embedded type" that matches the installation location.

This is a sensor dedicated to the Living Safety Notification System, which adds a time function to the human movement sensor for enhanced living safety notifications!

■Living Safety Sensor This is a dedicated sensor for the 'Living Safety Notification System,' which integrates a "human movement sensor" with the time function of a "living safety notifier." It detects human movement using a passive sensor, and if no movement is detected within a pre-set timer duration, it alerts to a change in living rhythm. The timer can be set to 15 different durations (20 seconds, 5 minutes, 1, 6, 8, 9, 10, 11, 12, 13, 15, 16, 18, 22, and 24 hours). ■Two Types: Surface-Mounted and Recessed It is installed on the ceiling surface of corridors and living spaces used in daily life. With a sophisticated design reminiscent of downlights, both the surface-mounted and recessed types do not compromise architectural beauty. ■User-Friendly Design To eliminate the relay operation sound during detection, a photoMOS relay has been adopted. This allows for a quiet living environment without worrying about the sensor's operational noise. The detection indicator light also uses a gentle green color that is easy on the eyes. ■Pre-Notification Function If no human movement is detected within the set time, a pre-notification output occurs 5 minutes in advance. By connecting a buzzer or light, the system can be effectively utilized.
